Palia is a free-to-play MMORPG created by Singularity 6 that focuses on cozy, casual gameplay and building a community. There isn't really any combat in Palia; instead, the key focus will be on all of the things that are usually considered side activities in MMORPGs.
Players can busy themselves with eight fun activities: Fishing, Foraging, Hunting, Mining, Insect Catching, Cooking, Furniture Making, and Gardening. Each of these activities has its own unique mechanics to learn. You'll discover the basics by talking with an expert NPC, and then you'll be able to try them out for yourself.
All of these goodies collected from your adventures can then be taken home to your own personal plot of land. It's not very large at first, but you can gradually expand it and turn a small chunk of wilderness littered with debris into something that can truly be called a home of your own.
Best of all, your experiences in Palia can be shared with other players. You'll find plenty of people roaming the world on your adventures and you can get together to enjoy these fun activities in co-op. If you're looking for something more concrete, you can band together with friends and form a guild called a "Neighborhood," too!
