How to Unlock Subira in Palia | Meet The Order Representative

This guide will tell you how to unlock Subira in Palia by completing the Quests "Fit for a Watcher," "Your Order is Served," and "Extravagant Expectations."

A big part of Palia is making friends with the residents, but one of them isn't in town at the start. A representative of The Order will be coming to town, but you'll need to use your skills (including Gardening and Mining) to prepare for her arrival. Read on to learn how to unlock Subira!

How to Unlock Subira in Palia

You can unlock Subira in Palia by completing a series of three Quests: the "Fit for a Watcher" Quest, the "Your Order is Served" Quest, and the "Extravagant Expectations" Quest. These Quests will mainly involve Furniture Making and Cooking, and you'll need to leverage all of your talents to complete them.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to unlock Subira right away. You're going to need to progress the main story and complete certain story quests (such as finding a Shepp) before you'll have the option to bring Subira to town. When you do have that option, you'll have to complete the listed Quests — read on to learn how to complete all three!

Palia Fit for a Watcher Quest Walkthrough

The "Fit for a Watcher" Quest is the first of three Quests that you'll need to complete in order to get Subira to come to Kilima Village. This Quest is a simple exercise in Furniture Making in principle. In practice, however, you're going to need some of the best resources in the game.

Tish will tell you that you need to make four pieces of furniture for Subira's room; here's what you'll be making and the resources you'll need to make them:

Investigator Armchair

• 15 Flow-Infused Plank
• 2 Palium Bar
• 4 Silk
• 2 Dragon's Beard Peat

Investigator Banner

• 6 Silk
• 1 Palium Bar
• 6 Plant Fiber
• 2 Dragon's Beard Peat

Investigator Bed

• 30 Flow-Infused Plank
• 4 Palium Bar
• 10 Silk
• 3 Dragon's Beard Peat

Investigator Desk

• 20 Flow-Infused Plank
• 4 Palium Bar
• 1 Leather
• 1 Glass Bulb

The most challenging items to collect will be the Flow-Infused Planks and the Palium Bars; you'll need Iron tools or better to have a chance at collecting these. Make sure to save up your Palium Bars and Flow-Infused Planks while you're progressing through the story so you have enough!

Once you've completed all four pieces of Furniture, return to Tish. She'll take them and give you 25 Renown, 5,000 Gold, and the Blueprints for the Investigator End Table and Investigator Sideboard. Naturally, you'll also be able to keep the Blueprints for the other four pieces of Investigator Furniture. Your next step will be to talk to Reth.

Palia Your Order is Served Quest Walkthrough

Reth is next up for the Subira Quest series with the "Your Order is Served" Quest. Essentially, this Quest requires you to Cook three new Recipes at Star Quality.

All three Recipes are immensely complex. You will want a full kitchen with 2 Prep Stations, 2 Mixing Stations, 2 Standard Stoves, and 2 Standard Ovens. You can make all of these Recipes solo, but it's challenging and there is little room for mistakes.

Here are the Cooking Recipes and what you need to make them:

Oysters Awkinduu

Started at: Oven (Requires 2 Ovens)

• 1 Oyster
• 5 Salt
• 1 Spicy Pepper
• 1 Tomato
• 1 Onion
• 1 Garlic
• 1 Heat Root
• 1 Butter
• 1 Any Red Meat

Muujin Bahari

Started at: Oven

• 1 Butter
• 2 Wheat
• 2 Corn
• 1 Butter
• 3 Salt
• 1 Chapaa Meat
• 1 Any Mushroom
• 1 Spicy Pepper
• 1 Onion
• 2 Spice Sprouts
• 1 Garlic
• 3 Muujin Meat
• 3 Plant Fiber
• 3 Cooking Oil
• 1 Vinegar
• 1 Egg

Petit Fives

Started at: Prep Station

• 2 Butter
• 1 Egg
• 1 Flour
• 2 Sweet Leaf
• 1 Milk
• 1 Apple
• 1 Corn
• 1 Sugar

Remember: you need Star Quality versions of these Recipes! Make sure to collect extras of every ingredient where possible. You don't want to have to interrupt your Cooking because you didn't do enough Gardening or haven't Foraged (or purchased) enough of the rarer items such as Heat Root!

When you've Cooked them all, return to Reth and he'll complete the quest. You'll get 3,000 Gold, 25 Renown, and 5 Dari Cloves as a reward. You'll also get to keep these new Cooking Recipes forever. With this Quest completed, your next step is to wait for a letter from Eshe.

Palia Extravagant Expectations Quest Walkthrough

The "Extravagant Expectations" Quest is the third and final Quest that you'll need to complete to unlock Sumira. Unlike the previous ones, you won't get it right away — you have to wait for Eshe to send you a letter.

This Quest is fairly straightforward. Eshe will send you a letter and tell you to meet her between 6:00 PM–12:00 AM Palian time. When you do, you'll have the option to go to the party welcoming Subira.

Once you're at the party, you'll have to introduce yourself to Subira. Speak with her again when you're ready to leave and she'll ask you to distract Eshe with a proposal for the town so she can slip out the back door.

Speak with Eshe and go through the dialogue tree. At the end of your conversation, she'll notice that Subira is gone and she'll be quite upset. You can opt to talk to the other partygoers if you wish. When you're ready to leave, speak with Eshe again.

After you've left, you'll be tasked with speaking to Subira at the Inn. Head up to the second floor and you can talk to her through her closed door. After a short conversation, she'll give you the Congee Cooking Recipe and 50 Renown.

You've now unlocked Subira! You can start leveling up her Friendship by giving you Gifts and she'll be able to help you with certain Quests in a future update.
