To celebrate Pride Month Sirius Dice has collaborated with Daniel Quasar, creator of the Progress Pride Flag, and Wizards of the Coast to release a full set of Dungeons & Dragons dice that feature the Process Pride Flag. The main catch is that this is an exclusive set of dice, once the 1,500 copies that were created are sold they won't be returning to the store.
In talking about this collaboration Daniel Quasar had the following to say about the importance of Dungeons & Dragons to their life and the importance of LGBTQ+ representation in the space:
Playing tabletop RPGs has changed my life significantly so getting to experience them from a different perspective has been amazing. My hope with this dice set is that LGBTQ+ players will feel seen, represented and proud as they roll, knowing that someone on the inside is just like them and just as excited to play.
This limited set of dice come with everything from your d4 up to your d20 and cost only $40. For every set of dice sold a donation in the amount of $30 will be made to The Trevor Project. Assuming my math is correct a $30 donation for each of the 1,500 copies would mean a staggering $45k donation.
For those who may not be aware The Trevor Project is a suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. The organization offers 24/7 services allowing for youths to get access to trained counsellors when they're needed.
