Koei Tecmo has revealed the Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake release date, and the reimagined strategy classic should make the perfect companion for fall.
Having been delayed back in December, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 is officially set to launch across PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch on October 24th, when you'll be able to pick it up digitally via these platforms' respective storefronts (it'll be on Steam for PC players).
This reimagining of Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 will be based on the original game's Power Up Kit version, so you can expect the same features offered by that enhanced edition, including the All Officers Play and All Periods Scenarios options.
You can also look forward to the addition of Traits, abilities possessed by officers with "exceptional achievements or memorable anecdotes in history".
Legendary Wei general Cao Cao, for instance, can act twice during the council stage, while the iconic hero Liu Bei can meet with officers "without fail". Various other generals will likely have exciting traits for you to discover as well.
Lots of other changes have been implemented, too, including the ability to view relationships quickly and easily as they build up via the new Relationship Chart, as well as the addition of Tales, a new way by which officers can initiate major historical events and anecdotes within the game.
