Frontier Developments has announced when we can expect turn-based tactical RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters to land on consoles.
The game, which sees a squadron of Grey Knights attempting to stop a deadly plague spreading across the galaxy, hits PlayStation and Xbox on February 20th.
Originally unveiled in June 2021, Daemonhunters arrived on PC in May 2022, so it's been a fairly long time coming on consoles.
Since its PC release, Daemonhunters has received a number of major updates, as well as a DLC pack titled "Execution Force".
The DLC adds four new playable classes in the form of the assassins of the Officio Assassinorum order, and it also brings a number of new pieces of equipment, the ability to board Death Guard ships, and more.
It's not clear whether the DLC will launch alongside the console versions, but we assume that the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Daemonhunters will include the most recent updates, at the very least.
If you're not familiar with Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, it's a turn-based RPG set in the grim universe of Warhammer 40k.
You take control of a chapter of Grey Knights who must hunt down and purge the source of a deadly plague that threatens to engulf the galaxy.
If you know your Warhammer 40k lore, you probably don't need to guess twice at who's responsible. You'll be facing off against plague cultists, of course, but also Death Guard Space Marines and a number of other horrifying abominations.
The story is penned by famed 40k scribe Aaron Dembski-Bowden, whose works include Spear of the Emperor, The Talon of Horus, and The Night Lords, among many others.
You can grab Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters on PC via Steam right now. It's coming to PlayStation consoles and Xbox platforms on February 20th.
