Stunlock Studios has announced the V Rising PS5 release date, with the much-feted vampiric survival game landing on Sony's console next month.
After launching in Early Access all the way back in May 2022, V Rising finally got a 1.0 release on PC earlier this month, but thanks to a brand new trailer, we now know the game will rise from its PC-exclusive coffin and hunt for PS5 players on June 11th.
When it launches on PS5, V Rising will have all of the same features as the PC's 1.0 release, including Castlevania crossover content, a range of new difficulty levels, and much more.
Although V Rising will be available on both PC and PS5 by the time June 11th rolls around, developer Stunlock confirmed in an interview earlier this year that the game won't support crossplay between the two platforms.
While Stunlock said in that interview that its current priority is bringing V Rising to PC and PS5, the developer seemed open to the idea of the game appearing on Xbox and Nintendo platforms, so we may well see V Rising making the leap to other consoles at some point in the future.
For now, though, you can check out the V Rising PS5 release date announcement trailer below. It'll give you a sense of what you can expect if you decide to delve into Vardoran on PS5 next month.
If you're not familiar with V Rising, it's an open-world survival game in which you must survive as a freshly-awakened vampire.
You can construct and decorate your very own castle, craft your own equipment, and learn a host of vampiric disciplines and powers to help you navigate the world of Vardoran and defeat its many enemies and bosses.
V Rising is available right now on PC, and it's coming to PS5 on June 11th. Watch this space for more info.
