Tekken 8's second DLC character has been revealed, and she's making her way to Bandai Namco's fighting game sometime this summer, the studio has announced.
Lidia Sobieska, the Polish prime minister (in the game's universe, not in real life), will be the second DLC fighter to join Tekken 8's roster after fan favorite Eddy Gordo kicked off the season pass earlier this month.
Somewhat confusingly, Lidia is referred to as "Lidia Sobieski" in the official Bandai Namco announcement post for the DLC. I'm assuming the "i" version is the error, since she was Lidia Sobieska in Tekken 7's season pass.
It's not just Lidia, though. More stuff is coming to Tekken 8 soon, starting with "battle adjustments" to improve the game's balance, which will be implemented sometime this spring.
In summer, free updates will bring a new stage in the form of the Seaside Resort, as well as a photo mode to allow you to take snapshots of some of your most epic Tekken 8 moments.
A "brand new story" involving previous DLC character Eddy will be made available sometime in fall, and following that, new modes, like Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice, will be introduced to the game "at a later date".

Tekken 8 is, as you've probably already figured out, the eighth mainline installment in the Tekken series.
Released back in January, the game sees the return of a number of fan favorite fighters, including Nina Williams, Marshall Law, and Paul Phoenix, as well as new characters like Peruvian coffee enthusiast Azucena and French agent Victor Chevalier.
You can grab Tekken 8 right now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Stay tuned for more on this one.
