If you're a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack member, you're in luck this month. Three new Mario titles are working their way to the service on May 26th, joining the already-available Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 to complete the Super Mario Advance series.

Game Boy Advance games were first announced for Switch Online in February, and the service already has a decent selection of games available (if you're an Expansion Pack member, that is), including Metroid Fusion and The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. If you're more of a platforming aficionado, though, you'll appreciate the three Mario games heading to Switch Online this month.

First up is Super Mario Advance, which, despite the title, is actually a version of Super Mario Bros. 2. It's got bigger sprites than the original, as well as enhanced graphics and sound. Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 is also coming to Switch Online, giving you another way to play this legendary platformer (since it's already available on the SNES via a standard Switch Online membership).

Last but not least, Switch Online Expansion Pack members are also getting Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 this month. Again, Yoshi's Island is already available as an emulated SNES game if you're a Switch Online member, but now you can experience its GBA port as well, if you want to.

All three of these games also come complete with a version of the classic Mario Bros arcade game. That's available on NES via Switch Online, but the GBA versions naturally have enhanced sound and visuals. In any case, if you're already a Switch Online Expansion Pack user, a few more games can't hurt, right?

Nintendo Switch Online is available right now via your Switch console or via the official Nintendo website. Signing up nets you benefits like a catalog of retro games, online play, and cloud saving, plus more. Expansion Pack membership adds Game Boy Advance, N64, and Sega Genesis games to the retro lineup, as well as DLC for popular Nintendo games like Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
