Smalland: Survive the Wilds finally has a full release date across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it's pretty close by.
The tiny-but-mighty survival game was originally released into Early Access on PC all the way back in March last year, and it's hitting the big time on February 15th.
The full release will accompany the launch of Content Update #4, otherwise known as The Tyrant's Perch, which is expected to bring lots of new content to Smalland, although we don't know exactly what'll be included just yet.
Smalland was originally set to arrive in 2021, but was subject to delays before finally launching on Steam in 2023.
Once it launched, however, Merge Games' diminutive survival experience didn't take long to rack up 200,000 sales.
Content updates swiftly followed, bringing features like new server modifiers, extra story elements and gear, and more, and now it looks like Smalland is set to receive its fourth such update in just a couple of weeks.
If you're unfamiliar with Smalland: Survive the Wilds, it is, as the name suggests, a survival game that shrinks you down and asks you to survive in a massively scaled-up world.
In Smalland, trees are the size of skyscrapers, puddles become massive bodies of water that are difficult to traverse, and tiny insects become huge monsters with whom battles are life-or-death endeavors.
If you've played the 2022 survival game Grounded, then you'll know roughly what to expect from Smalland, although Merge Games' world is a touch more mystical and a touch less irreverent.
You can check out Smalland: Survive the Wilds right now on PC via Steam. It's also available via the Epic Games Store, and it's set to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 15th.
