Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Collectible Types
Each region of the Prince of Persion: The Lost Crown map can have any number of the following four types of collectibles; Treasures, Spirited Sand-Jars, Coins, and Lore Items.
Treasures
Treasures are the broadest category of collectible in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Treasures can include any of the following items:
- Amulets - Equippable items that will give Sargon new abilities or alter his current ones
- Amulet Holder - Allows Sargon to equip more Amulets
- Azure Damascus Ingot - A special currency used in The Forge to upgrade weapons further
- Soma Tree Flower - An item that gives Sargon an extra Health Gauge
- Soma Tree Petal - When four are collected they give Sargon an extra Health Gauge

- Skins - These are alternate color patterns and outfits for Sargon
- Treasure Chest of Time Crystals - These are treasure chests that contain a large amount of the standard currency that Sargon will use during the game
Spirited Sand-Jar
Sand-Jars are collectibles hidden in hard-to-reach spaces or behind secret breakable walls. The Spirited Sand-Jars are part of the Prophecy of Mount Qad questline. With each five Spirited Sand-Jars collected you can return to the Prophecy Room near The Haven and obtain a reward.
- 5 Spirited Sand-Jars: Time Crystals and a Soma Tree Petal
- 10 Spirited Sand-Jars: Time Crystals and the Holy Fire Amulet
- 15 Spirited Sand-Jars: Time Crystals and an Amulet Holder

Xerxes Coins
The Xerxes Coins are a collectible that commonly requires Sargon to complete a difficult platforming task without time to rest until you're back on safe ground. If you teleport or die during the platforming the coin will not be placed. This is similar to the Strawberry collectible from Celeste.
Another source of Xerxes Coins is for defeating the powerful enemies that are part of The Lost Warriors questline that you start in the Lower City. Each of the eight Lost Warriors that you run into will drop the item required for the quest, the Insignia of Persepolis, as well as a Xerxes Coin.
These coins can be spent to upgrade amulets at The Forge or can be used to purchase items at a special shop in The Depths.
Lore Items
These lore-related items expand upon the story of The Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. There are 51 of these Lore Items in total. Collecting these doesn't alter any gameplay elements.
