Sony has announced release dates for its new PlayStation Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite wireless headset.
The new audio accessories are part of Sony's expanding PS5 lineup, which also includes the PlayStation Portal, a handheld device launching in November.
The Pulse Explore earbuds will arrive around three weeks later, hitting "select markets" on December 6th. These markets include the US, the UK, and many European countries, as well as Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Following that launch, the earbuds will roll out globally "in the following months", so if you don't see your country listed on the official announcement, it shouldn't be too long until you can buy them.
The new Pulse Elite wireless headset, meanwhile, will arrive in "most global markets" starting from February 21st, with a rollout to other markets taking place in the months afterwards.
You'll also get a Link USB adapter with both purchases. That accessory will be sold separately for $24.99 or your regional equivalent as well.
If you missed the announcements, the Pulse Explore earbuds are the first set of wireless earbuds created exclusively for PlayStation consoles by Sony.
They include dual microphones with "AI-enhanced noise rejection", as well as lossless audio and a case in which you can charge them.
The Pulse Elite headset also features lossless audio, as well as a retractable mic and the same AI-enhanced noise rejection technology that's built into the Pulse Explore earbuds.
You'll also find a "charging hanger" so that you can both charge the headset and display it to the envy of your friends and family.
As you can probably imagine, these accessories will also carry a price tag to match their quality, with the Pulse Explore earbuds retailing at $199.99 and the Elite headset selling for $149.99.
You'll be able to pre-order the new audio accessories starting from November 9th. They'll be available on PlayStation Direct, as well as "select retailers".
