Miju Games has announced that The Planet Crafter sales have topped a million since the game's release in Early Access over two years ago.
In a new post on Steam, Miju thanks players for helping it to reach this milestone, calling it a "tremendous achievement for our small team of six".
It's important to note that this sales figure takes into account the entire time period between The Planet Crafter's March 2022 release date and today, rather than the time between now and its 1.0 release earlier this year.
Still, considering the relatively small niche The Planet Crafter occupies (although it's far from the only open-world survival crafter out there), a million sales is certainly nothing to be sniffed at.
Miju says the robust support the game has built up will allow it to continue working on the game into the future, implementing "all the great ideas" its staffers have in order to grow The Planet Crafter even further.
However, given that the 1.0 release and a new update have just been released, Miju says it's going into hibernation for the summer in order to "recharge our batteries".
The studio says it'll return in a few months with "new content and exciting news", so if you're a fan of The Planet Crafter, you shouldn't have too long to wait before you know what's coming next.
If you haven't played The Planet Crafter before, it's a survival-crafting game in which the focus is on terraforming a barren land in order to survive its inhospitable environment.
You'll need to collect resources, build machines to improve your chances of survival, and "eventually geo-engineer an entire planet", as the Steam page says.
