Paul is a student at the University of Florida seeking a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Being a gamer for as long as he could remember, Paul made it a career goal of his to be working somewhere within the industry so he could follow his passion: video games!
Paul started writing at TechRaptor during the summer of 2021, where he wrote a passion-filled feature on Doki Doki Literature Club's commentary on loneliness in a post-pandemic world. After this, Paul pivoted to Genshin Impact's guide work. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise: Paul is a trailblazer for TechRaptor's guides. Paul also began to review games for TechRaptor, which remains his favorite writing to do, alongside writing up news. He also was a co-host for HAM Radio LIVE, a video game news roundup podcast, where he engaged in an embarrassing number of "waifu wars."
With a day-to-day filled with learning the ins and outs of communications, Paul loves to kick back at night and trudge through 80+ hour JRPGs while chatting with his friends over Discord. He's also an avid fan of anime, video game music, and cats. If you know Paul closely, you might have originally known him as Kopi; he likes to leave it up to the inquirer to figure out where that name comes from.
With high hopes (and a lot of luck), you'll see Paul working as a public relations specialist for one of his favorite video game developers. This is assuming his survival of college, which has yet to be determined.
