More Pathfinder content is on the way. Paizo Inc's fantasy TTRPG has received a new surge of popularity due to recent developments from its competition; a surge so massive it led to the selling out of physical books. But while various parts of the land of Golarion have been explored in various supplements, the newest wave of content will be returning to a classic part of the world: the region of Tian Xia.
The return of Tian Xia in Pathfinder Second Edition
According to an official press release, Paizo states that their next major projects will all be taking place in the region of Tian Xia. It is a region beloved by the Pathfinder community thanks to several well-received prewritten adventures released in Pathfinder 1e.
The first piece of new Pathfinder 2e content for Tian Xia is the new Season of Ghosts adventure path. This will be a four-part horror campaign set in the land of Shenmen. In the campaign, a local town becomes cursed by evil spirits and is invaded by monsters. The players must help this town prepare for winter and uncover the cause of the curse that has cut them off from the rest of the world. These four parts will release on a monthly basis starting October 2023 and are as follows:

Following this adventure path, two new Lost Omens books for Tian Xia will release in 2024. The Lost Omens Tian Xia World Guide will provide a comprehensive history of the region, including key events and institutions like the elemental hegemony and the Yaoguai wars. The world guide also progresses the timeline, addressing the events of prior adventure paths such as the new era of rule by the new empress of Minkai. The second book, the Lost Omens Tian Xia Character Guide, will introduce new player options. These include new ancestries and backgrounds as well as expanded heritages and feats for existing ancestries. The new ancestries include the reincarnating reclusive Samsarans, the shadow-manipulating Wayangs, and the shapeshifting Tanuki.
