There are all kinds of ways to improve your Pals in Palworld, but some are just naturally better than others. These are called Lucky Pals, and there are some available right when you start the game!
This is everything you need to know about Lucky Pals in Palworld.
What are Lucky Pals in Palworld?
Lucky Pals are special versions of Pals that twinkle and can have special abilities. These can be passive abilities or even special attacks that may be stronger than normal. Lucky Pals also have better stats than their regular counterparts, and they can be helpful both in battle and on your base.
You can check what kind of special abilities your Lucky Pal has by looking at its description page. Special abilities will be outlined in gold, and you can hover over the ability to see exactly what they do.
If your Lucky Pal is good for your base, then you may want to make a large Pal bed for it because of its size. They're generally too big for the regular Pal beds, even though they'll use them, and using a bigger, better one will make them happier and less stressed.
Finding Lucky Pals in Palworld
Fortunately, finding Lucky Pals is pretty simple. They’re not extremely common, but you can hear them if you’re nearby. There’s a sparkling noise along with the Pal’s cry, and it’s easy to follow the sounds and find the Pal.
Some of them can be a bit difficult to catch, so be careful to not let your Pal kill them while you throw spheres at them.
Are Lucky Pals like Shiny Pokemon?
Lucky Pals aren't very similar to Shiny Pokemon from the Pokemon games. They don't have their own color scheme, and Shiny Pokemon don't actually have special stats in most Pokemon games, so they're each special for their own reasons.
