Our Once Human Vehicle Guide will tell you how vehicles work, how to refuel and repair them, and how you can get your first Motorcycle.

The world of Once Human is surprisingly large, and it's not much fun to gather resources around the map on foot. Fortunately, you can craft a vehicle that can help you get around a lot faster — read on to learn more!

How Vehicles Work in Once Human

Every Once Human vehicle is essentially like a mount in other MMORPGs. Once you've crafted a vehicle, you can summon it at any time and it will appear in front of you.

Unlike mounts in other games, vehicles require fuel. You'll need to find more fuel if you want to keep using a vehicle over the long term. It's very likely that you will run out of fuel on your first Motorcycle before you can find another source of fuel; therefore, you should use your vehicle sparingly until you can find fuel.

Vehicles also have a health meter of their own. Your vehicle needs to be kept in tip-top shape if you're using it regularly!

How to Repair Vehicles

You can repair a vehicle by interacting with your Garage and pressing "G" to repair it. You'll have to expend resources to restore its health. If a vehicle's health is completely depleted, you won't be able to drive it until you return to your Garage and repair it.

How to Refuel Vehicles

You can refuel a vehicle by walking up to it and pressing "G." You must then fill it up with either Barreled Premium Fuel or Portable Mixed Fuel.

You can find Portable Mixed Fuel by inspecting the trunks of abandoned cars. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to craft Fuel as far as we can tell. You'll want to get into the habit of seraching every car you come across so you don't run out of fuel.

Building and powering a Refinery will allow you to convert 50 Portable Mixed Fuel into Barreled Premium Fuel.

How to Upgrade Vehicles

You can upgrade vehicles at a Garage placed in your base. You'll need to unlock higher tiers of the Modification Memetic in order to unlock better upgrades. Once you have, you can upgrade a vehicle at its associated Garage by spending the correct resources.

You must upgrade one part of your vehicle at a time. If you're short on resources, you can focus on upgrading one particular part of a vehicle for now and you can handle the rest later.

How to Change Vehicles

You can change vehicles by going to your Garage and pressing "X" to access the Vehicle List. This will allow you to switch between different vehicles or build new vehicles that you've unlocked.

Once Human Vehicle List | How to Unlock Transportation

Here is how you can unlock the different vehicles in Once Human.

How to Get a Motorcycle

You can get a Motorcycle by unlocking the "Garage" Memetic in the Building category. You'll then have to build a Garage and craft the Motorcycle. After that, you can summon the Motorcycle by pressing "G."

How to Get an All-Terrain Vehicle

You can get an All-Terrain Vehicle by unlocking the "Four-Wheeler" Memetic in the Building category. You will need resources from Level 20+ areas (such as Steel Ingot and Fireproof Plastic) to construct this vehicle.

How to Get a Retro Coupe

You can get a Retro Coupe by unlocking the "Four-Wheeler" Memetic in the Building category. As with the All-Terrain Vehicle, you'll need resources from Level 20+ areas to build this vehicle.

How to Get a Turbo Pickup

You can get a Turbo Pickup by unlocking the "Medium Garage" Memetic in the Building category which also gives you access to the Medium Garage. I don't know for certain, but I'm guessing that you'd need to build the Medium Garage before you can build a Turbo Pickup.

How to Get a Trailer Head

You can get a Trailer Head by unlocking the "Large Garage" Memetic in the Building category which also gives you access to the Large Garage. I'm guessing that you'd need to build the Large Garage before you can build a Trailer Head.
