Hello Games has released a new No Man's Sky update, and it's bringing the ability to customize and build your very own starship, as well as an overhaul for space stations and much more.

This update follows on from previous content drops like Omega and Echoes, and it's along similar lines in terms of scope.

First up, you'll be able to dismantle ships you don't want at the new Starship Fabricator station, using the parts you strip to build and customize your very own starship. If you've ever wished you had more control over the aesthetic of your ship while you're exploring the galaxy, this is the update for you.

Space stations have received an overhaul in No Man's Sky.

Space station exteriors and interiors have been redesigned in the Orbital update. Exteriors now boast "incredible detail and bold silhouettes", while interiors now include "more nooks to explore" and boast more intuitive and efficient navigation.

A new system has been added that allows you to sweep for high-value trading opportunities, too. The Economy Scanner can now "sweep for market surges in nearby star systems", allowing you to pinpoint ways to make some extra cash from your galactic excursions.

Tons of smaller stuff, like new storefront renovations, construction blueprints, and UI improvements, has also been added as part of the No Man's Sky Orbital update. You can check out the trailer for the update right here.

If you want to know everything that's been added as part of this update, we recommend you check out the latest No Man's Sky patch notes, which you can find right here.

No Man's Sky is a space exploration sandbox game available right now across PC and consoles. After a rocky launch in 2016, the game has received numerous updates to bulk out its content and fix some of its most egregious problems, and it's now arguably one of the biggest redemption stories in the gaming world.

You can pick up No Man's Sky on...well, pretty much everything; PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The game is also available on Game Pass if you're a subscriber.
