24 Entertainment and publisher NetEase have announced that Naraka: Bladepoint is getting three new high-profile collaborations to celebrate its third anniversary, as well as a new map, a new weapon type, and more.

In an anniversary livestream, it was revealed that the worlds of The Witcher and Tomb Raider will be joining Naraka: Bladepoint soon, and the game is also getting a crossover with Chinese novel series Daomu Biji, also known as Time Raider in its movie form.

The Tomb Raider collab is coming this summer and will add a new outfit inspired by heroine Lara Croft. First Dead by Daylight and now this? She really is a true globetrotter. This summer will also see Daomu Biji hero Kylin Zhang joining the cast of Naraka: Bladepoint as a playable hero.

Lara Croft will soon join the world of Naraka: Bladepoint.

The second collaboration is with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, whose hero, Geralt, will be appearing in Naraka: Bladepoint later this year. It's not exactly clear what form the collaboration will take; it could see Geralt join as a hero, or it could simply involve new outfits to collect. We'll have to wait and see.

That's not all Naraka: Bladepoint is getting for its birthday, though. A new map, Perdoria, will be introduced "after the July 2nd update", and it will take you into a subterranean city with platform areas designed for combat.

You can also look forward to the Fistblades, a new hand-to-hand combat weapon. It's not quite the "hands" the game promised on April Fools' Day, but it's as close as you're going to get.

Tantalizingly, 24 Entertainment also promises an Easter egg to discover in the new Perdoria map, and it's designed to "provide players with a more immersive adventure experience". Exciting! I wonder what it could be?

If you're not familiar with Naraka: Bladepoint, it's a melee combat-focused battle royale game in which up to 60 players duke it out while playing as a variety of colorful heroes.

Since the game's launch in 2021, it's been updated with a variety of new heroes, weapons, and game modes, and it's also enjoyed crossovers with the likes of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and the NieR franchise.

You can play Naraka: Bladepoint for free right now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox
