A new third-party Dungeons & Dragons supplement has arrived on D&D Beyond. We've seen Darrington Press' Tal'Dorei Reborn and Ghostfire Games' Dungeons of Drakkenheim come to the platform before. Now Hitpoint Press' Humblewood campaign setting will be joining their ranks.
Humblewood on D&D Beyond
An official D&D Beyond post goes into further detail about what players can enjoy in the Humblewood campaign setting. The world is host to different avian birdfolk as well as ground-dwelling intelligent animals. It is a world packed with history and a distinct pantheon of gods.
If you are familiar with the tone and atmosphere of Brian Jacques' Redwall series, this will be familiar.
The Humblewood campaign setting book is packed with new player options and Dungeon Master tools. For DMs, the book contains a bestiary of 50 unique monsters and NPCs, tools for turning established creatures into birdfolk or humblefolk, new magic items, and a prewritten adventure for adventurers levels 1-5.
As for player options, there are plenty to choose from. There are 10 new species including the hawkish Raptor, the charismatic rooster-esque Gallus, and the fox-like Vulpin. In addition, there are four new subclasses: the Community Domain and Night Domain Cleric, College of the Road Bard, and the Scofflaw Fighter.
In addition, there are new Feats and Spells unique to the setting of Humblewood. These include Feats like Aerial Expert, Woodwise, and Bandit Cunning, and spells like Veil of Dusk, Ambush Prey, and Gust Barrier.
Humblewood is an original fantasy setting developed by Hitpoint Press, utilizing D&D 5e's OGL for its core gameplay. The developer's other work includes TTRPG aids like the Deck of Many product line, supplemental books like Griffon's Saddlebag, and other original works like Heckna, and Visigoths vs. Mall Goths.
The Humblewood campaign setting is available right now on D&D Beyond. It is currently available at 20% off, setting it at an MSRP of $39.99 for a limited time.
