Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty offers repeatable activities–these are tasks that can be done over and over so you can earn more rewards. One of these involves stealing a vehicle and bringing it to a drop-off point. Our Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty vehicle contract missions guide discusses what you can expect from these objectives.

Things start out innocuous at first, as you take control of a car at the behest of Muamar. From there, you can start earning more rewards, including new vehicles that can be purchased.

How to Start Vehicle Contract Missions in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

To start the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty vehicle contract missions, you must advance the campaign further until you’re able to leave your hideout in Dogtown. This occurs once you have the Lucretia My Reflection main quest.

Upon exiting, you’ll receive a call from Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes. He asks you to get a car that’s parked near the hideout. This begins the Push It to the Limit mission. I suggest doing this as early as possible so you can unlock the repeatable activity while playing through the expansion’s main quest.

The player looks at a couple of gang members and their car. There’s also a dead body on the ground.
You’ll have to steal the car that’s parked near your hideout on Kress Street.

The goal is to drive the aforementioned car and exit Dogtown so you can bring it to the drop-off point. Then, upon reaching the freeway, you’ll notice that hostile groups are after you. You can either take them out or attempt to lose them by speeding away. I suggest eliminating them—you can press the Alt key to bring out your weapon, which allows you to shoot hostiles while you’re driving.

Once you arrive at the drop-off point, make sure no one is tailing you. As you park the vehicle, Muamar talks to you just as a couple of cops show up. Thankfully, they won’t cause any concern.

Vehicle Contract Mission Objectives

Now that you’ve completed the Push it to the Limit quest, you’ll be able to undertake the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty vehicle contract courier missions. From time to time, you’ll notice a green wheel icon on your minimap. This represents a car that you need to steal for Muamar.

Once you’re in the driver seat, you then need to bring it to a marked location. However, there might be a few challenges to consider:

  • Time limit — You need to bring the vehicle to the drop-off point within the time limit.
  • Eliminate enemies — You must reach the drop-off point without a single enemy tailing you (i.e. you need to take them out along the way).
  • No damage — You have to complete the objective without the vehicle taking damage.

I advise you to keep the time limit in mind. I’ve experienced a few mishaps when I was too engrossed in killing my foes, only to realize too late that the drop-off point was further away.

The player looks at a car and a hotel sign. An arrow points to the minimap in the upper-right corner.
The green wheel icon on your minimap represents vehicles that you need to steal for these repeatable missions.

Vehicle Contract Mission Rewards

Completing these courier missions nets you several rewards from Muamar’s contact in the drop-off point. These include weapons, shards, crafting materials, and eurodollars/cash.

More importantly, these courier missions go hand-in-hand with purchases from the Autofixer site. You can check the shop via terminals all over Night City, and you'll notice that some vehicles still need to be unlocked. The more gigs you complete for Muamar, the more cars you unlock. Likewise, the more courier missions you finish, the higher the discount you'll get when buying these vehicles.

That’s it: that’s everything you need to know about how to complete vehicle contract missions in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Since you're tackling a repeatable activity, you might as well check out our airdrop locations and rewards guide.
