Today Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse released a new trailer showing off the new 5-star character coming soon, Acheron.
Acheron is a Galaxy Ranger and a lightning character following the path of Nihility. She will be added with version 2.1 "Into the Yawning Chasm" on March 27, 2024.
He Event Warp will also include Gallagher (a new four-star fire character following the path of the Abundance), Pela, and Dan Heng. it'll be titled "Word of Yore."
Recently we saw Acheron dance with Black Swan in a gorgeous anime trailer and today we learn more about her, albeit the trailer is still a bit cryptic.
She is voiced in English by Allegra Clark and in Japanese by star voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, whom you may know as Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact, Katalina in Granblue Fantasy, Aranea in Final Fantasy XV, Minfilia in Final Fantasy XIV, Cammy in Street Fighter, and many either popular roles.
You can watch her in action in the trailer in English below, while the Japanese version featuring Sawashiro-san is available on the official channel.
If you feel like she's Honkai: Star Rail's version of the Raiden Shogun, you're not alone. The choice of voice actress is certainly not random.
