Rockstar has released new information about the upcoming GTA Online summer update, which will let you engage in your very own brand of vigilante justice.
In a new blog post, Rockstar says the update, which doesn't have a release date yet, will allow you to start up and run "your very own bail enforcement and bounty hunting business" in order to "clean up the roving reprobates of Southern San Andreas".
Even if you're not interested in dispensing the San Andreas version of frontier justice, though, there's still plenty for you to look forward to in this summer's GTA Online update.
You'll get the chance to help Vincent with a "range of off-the-books enforcement activities", for instance, and if you're into racing, you can also look forward to new cars to collect.
If you're a fan of using GTA Online's Creator feature, then you'll be pleased to know that this summer's update is bringing the opportunity to create custom Drag and Drift Race circuits. More units will be added across all tracks too, including crowd animations and "bouncing lowriders". Nice.
Testing races should also be easier, since you'll be able to test your races from any checkpoint you choose. In short, if you like creating GTA Online races, you should be looking forward to this update.
A number of smaller updates and tweaks are on the way too, including a boosted Sell Mission timer, buffs to the Sparrow and Bombushka aircraft, and more. We'll likely get more info as we get closer to the release date, whenever that happens to be.
More info is coming soon, so make sure to keep an eye out on Rockstar's socials and other channels if you want to learn more about this summer's GTA Online update.
GTA Online may still be going strong, but its days in the sun may be numbered, at least in its current form. Rockstar is currently hard at work on Grand Theft Auto 6, the next mainline installment in the GTA series, and it's not clear how that new game will affect GTA Online yet.
Stay tuned for more news on all things GTA Online, as well as all things Rockstar in general.
