Genshin Impact Elements
Each character in Genshin Impact wields a Vision - a token of ambition - that is bestowed upon them when they reach a varying level of aspiration. These Visions grant access to Elemental abilities. Elements in Genshin Impact do different things depending on how they're interacting with each other.
Elements, Elemental Resonances, and Elemental Debuffs
When using different Elements, enemies and allies can be inflicted with varying debuffs. Having multiple allies with the same Vision on your team will grant an Elemental Resonance buff.

Element - Pyro
- Resonance: Fervent Flames - Affected by Cryo for 40% less time. Increases ATK by 25%.
- Debuff: Continuously inflicts damage over time.
Element: Hydro
- Resonance - Soothing Waters: Affected by Pyro for 40% less time. Increases incoming healing by 30%.
- Debuff: Increases skill CD durations.
Element: Anemo
- Resonance - Impetuous Winds: Decreases Stamina Consumption by 15%. Increases Movement SPD by 10%. Shortens Skill CD by 5%.
- Debuff: N/A
Element: Geo
- Resonance- Enduring Rock: Increases shield strength by 15%. Additionally, characters protected by a shield will have the following special characteristics: DMG dealt increased by 15%, dealing DMG to enemies will decrease their Geo RES by 20% for 15s.
- Debuff: N/A
Element: Electro
- Resonance - High Voltage: Affected by Hydro for 40% less time. Superconduct, Overloaded, and Electro-Charged have a 100% chance to generate an Electro Elemental Particle (CD: 5s).
- Debuff: Continuously drains Energy Recharge.
Element: Cryo
- Resonance - Shattering Ice: Affected by Electro for 40% less time. Increases CRIT Rate against enemies that are Frozen or affected by Cryo by 15%.
- Debuff: Increases stamina consumption.

In battle, Elements from allies and enemies will interact, creating different effects that can hurt your character and enemies. Using these Elemental Reactions strategically is key to success against high-level foes.

- Effect: Creates a crystal that will provide a shield when picked up.
Elemental Reaction: Electro Charged

- Effect: Freezes the target.

Genshin Impact averaged around 18 million players the first 30 days after launch, and since that time we've seen that number rise to be around 58 Million in February of 2022. The number of max players in a day is under 10,000,000, and is growing at a similar rate as the average count. By Q2 of 2022, Genshin Impact will likely see 10 Million players a day as the "norm".
Does Genshin Impact Support Cross-Play?
Yes, Genshin Impact allows cross-play and cross-platform services between mobile (iOS and Android), PC, and PlayStation. Note that currency purchased on PlayStation can only be used on PlayStation, but once it is used, whatever items acquired with it can be used on any platform.
