Developer and publisher Keen Games has announced that its ambitious voxel survival RPG Enshrouded has crossed another major player count milestone.
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) earlier today, Keen revealed that Enshrouded has passed the two million player mark and that it has done so "in less than a month".
In late January, Keen Games announced that Enshrouded had hit a million players, meaning that it's gained another million in just a few weeks. This still doesn't put Enshrouded in the same ballpark as the goliath that is Palworld, but it's a pretty impressive figure nonetheless.
To mark the occasion, Keen Games asked Enshrouded players for their best screenshot or anecdote from the game, and the replies don't disappoint, as you might expect.
One player highlights a pair of chickens doing something unspeakable in the corner of their yard, while another shows off a rather sweet creation displaying just how much they love the game.
It's not entirely clear why Keen is referring to Enshrouded's player count rather than its sales, since the game isn't available on any subscription services, but at any rate, it looks like the players who've picked it up are enjoying it.
If you've missed out on the Enshrouded hype, it's a voxel-based survival action-RPG in which players must band together to explore the world, defeat monsters, and carve out a little piece of the land for themselves.
Enshrouded's world allows you to gather resources, craft your own weapons, and build structures to help you survive, and it also features an innovative fog mechanic that increases both risk and loot quality when venturing inside.
You can grab Enshrouded on PC right now via Steam Early Access. Make sure to check out our Enshrouded guides if you need some help getting started in the game's punishing but beautiful voxel world.
