Our Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Fishing Guide will go over how to unlock this optional minigame, and the locations of each fish.

Unlocking Fishing

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes fishing can be unlocked shortly after completing the prologue section. Once you're asked to start recruiting members of the watch, head out of Eltisweiss, then go through Fort Xialuke to the north.

From there, you'll be able to visit Arenside Village (the area from the prologue). Head to the west side of the village and you'll run into Huang by the river. Talk to him to get the basic fishing rod.

You wont be able to recruit Huang until later in the game, but the only way to get better fishing rods is by having him join your town. He's found in Hishahn near the trader, and wants you to catch a Wheel-Eye Bream.

How to Get A Wheel-Eye Bream

Wheel-Eye Breams in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes are found in three locations, though only two will be available before recruiting Huang.

The first is in the Euchrisse area, by the coast near the Seaside Cavern. The second is in the cavern itself, near the northwest (this is where we caught it first). This will take patience and a little luck, as the fish will sometimes escape without giving you a chance to catch them.

With the fish caught and Huang recruited, new fishing rod upgrades will be available to you as you build up your town. A number of new fishing spots can also be created along the way.

All fish are listed in the order they are found in the Fish Guide in the Library. Your Town can eventually get 5 total fishing spots once upgraded (we've numbered them from left to right.)
