Dungeons of Hinterberg Map Guide | All Locations and Area Achievements

Our Dungeons of Hinterberg Map Guide will go over each main zone of the game, including achievements that are tied to certain areas.

Maps

Dungeons of Hinterberg has four main areas, each containing a number of dungeons, chests, and scenic spots. Some areas are locked behind story progression, while others will be too difficult without obtaining better gear first.

We've marked the regular chests on each map with star icons.

Doberkogel

Animal Lover Achievement

To feed a cow, head to the flag marker we've placed on the north east part of the map. Here, you'll find a cow that can be interacted with for the achievement.

Water You Looking For? Achievement

In the south west side of Doberkogel near the Jelly Tunnels you'll find a waterfall. Head behind it to find a chest (we've marked it with a "?" on the map) and get the achievement.

To actually open the chest, you first need to become friends with Thea. The chest contains 5,000 Hinterbucks.

Hinterwald

Grove Trove Achievement

The Grove Trove achievement in Dungeons of Hinterberg only requires you to open the locked chests in Hinterwald, rather than all that can be found in the game.

We've marked the locked chests with "?" markers on the map. Opening them requires you to befriend Thea.

Mushroom Isles

The Mushroom Isles dungeon isn't available from the start. To unlock it, you must befriend the Dog in Hinterberg.

Kolmstein

Kolmstein has no special achievements tied to it.

Brunnelsumpf

Brunnelsumpf has no special achievements.

Unlocking the Lighthouse Reef dungeon requires you to activate three lighthouses found in Brunnelsumpf. We've marked these with circle icons on the map.
