Our Dungeons of Hinterberg Commemorative Coin Guide will go over where you can find each of these elusive collectables.
Commemorative Coin List
Commemorative Coins in Dungeons of Hinterberg can only be found in dungeons. There is one coin per dungeon, and you can go back to previous dungeons if you missed them the first time — Dungeons of Hinterberg has no time limit, so there's no penalty to revisiting dungeons.
You can see which Commemorative Coins you’ve already found in the “Other” tab of your inventory, under “Story Items”. They’re in the same order as the dungeons list, going from easiest to hardest.
If you want to search for the coins later on, make sure to create a save file at some point before completing your final dungeon.
Beginner’s Dungeon
After heading across the first path, there’s a chest in the upper area to the right. Climb up to get the first Commemorative Coin.
Abandoned Mineshaft
After the first minecart ride, get back into the minecart and hold right. This will take you to another room containing the Commemorative Coin.
Giant Cavern
Just before the end of the dungeon, near the T shaped path you can rotate. There’s a small side path containing a chest.
Jelly Tunnels
In the cave before reaching the waystone. Hidden on a platform at the top, requires the middle rock to be lifted up.
Ancient Tree
After entering the first room full of vines, travel on a whirlwind to the right. There’s a small hidden cave featuring the Commemorative Coin.
Glacial Galaxy
In the area full of lasers with the moving floor, there is a hidden room underneath the snow, to the right of the entrance.

Snowflake Slalom
There’s a small side area hiding this chest, near the large ice slope with two railings.
Tatzelwurm’s Lair
In a chest in the area after defeating the boss.
Mushroom Isles
After blowing the first horn to clear the toxic water, head back to the previous area and climb up the ladder.
Prisonkeep Island
After leaving the room with the four wooden pillars, instead of going right to the raft, go left to find the Commemorative Coin.
Desolate Castle
After opening the large door inside the castle that requires both electric switches to be spun around, head left up the spiral staircase. After these end, there’s another set of stairs that can be reached using a jelly block.
Lighthouse Reef
After passing the first lazer at the start, go right and use a jelly block to climb onto the small rock platform to reach the chest.
Old Quarry
In the latter half of the dungeon, hidden behind a large jelly wall. Pull the smaller jelly block that's on the lower area to reveal it.
Shredding Facility
Behind a destroyable wall, opposite the waystone.
Snowy Summit
Near the end, once you reach the section in the cave with branching grind rails. From the top, go down the first rail, then the left one. After this, keep following the rails, then take the right one once they split again.
Windsbraut’s Treetop
Before leaving via the dungeon exit, head up the large tree branch slope.
Basilisk's Roost
After fighting the boss for the first time, head right before going onto the rail. There’s a short side path containing a chest.

On the wooden scaffolding after defeating the first phase of the boss.
Toxic Archipelago
In the final section before crossing the lake on a raft to reach the exit. In a chest on top of the ruined castle section at the back.
