Dragon's Dogma 2 Jadeite Orb Quest Choice - Offulve or Everard?

When you first make your way to the Checkpoint Rest Town, you'll be approached by a man named Offulve, who's searching for a Jadeite Orb that his employer wants. This will start the Dragon's Dogma 2 Hunt for the Jadeite Orb Quest, which comes with a choice.

This quest will give you a choice of how to handle it, and as you make your way to the rear of the town, you can purchase the Jadeite Orb...or create a forgery if you'd like.

In doing so, you'll be able to give both men what they're looking for to complete this quest.

Where to get the Jadeite Orb

You'll find the Jadeite Orb sitting on the counter of Ibrahim's Scrap Store. This shop, when you first enter the town, is directly southwest of the entrance, tucked below the path.

Purchase the Jadeite Orb for 7500 Gold from the shopkeeper, and once you've done so - you can also create a forgery, which costs you 2,000 Gold and takes 2 full days to be completed.

To get the full reward of this quest, create the forgery and either sleep for two days or come back later.

Hunt for the Jadeite Orb - Give the Orb to Offulve or Everard?

With both the genuine article, and a forgery in hand, now you have to make a choice. Who do you give the real Orb to, and who do you give the fake?

Well, in all honesty - there's only one option if you want the full reward. Everard will make you get the Orb appraised by the very person you got a forgery from!

That said, here's what you get for each, and it doesn't matter the order:

Give Everard The Genuine Orb (Offulve gets Forgery)

If you give Everard the genuine orb, after it's appraised as genuine he'll give you 12,000 Gold and a Ring of Skullduggery. You can then go to Offulve and give him the Fake Orb, and he'll give you 3,000 Gold and an Elite Camping Kit.

Give Offulve The Genuine Orb (Everard gets Forgery)

If you give Offulve the real Jadeite Orb, you'll get the same reward as above - 3,000 Gold and an Elite Camping Kit. This will only leave you the Forged Jadeite Orb, which you can take to Everard if you want - but he'll quickly have it appraised as a fake and you'll have a fight on your hands.

This is definitely the lesser option, if you're looking to max out your reward!

You'll bump into both Offulve and Everard later on, but Everard won't talk to you and Offulve talks about how you gave him a fake.
