Animal Well BDTP Guide

There's a lot of secrets in Animal Well, from hidden Eggs and the songs they teach, to Bunnies and Figurines hidden in unexpected places the Well runs deep. If you've found yourself here though you're already aware of all of that and are standing in the Office wondering what BDTP means. In this Animal Well BDTP Guide we will cover what you can do once you've collected all of the Secret Bunnies.

Animal Well BDTP Requirements

There are a few requirements you need to meet before you're able to reach this part of the game.

• The first requirement is having access to the Office, this is the room above the living room in the house at the end of the game. To reach the Office you need the Office Key which is a reward obtained for collecting every egg in the game and playing the song hidden in the UV light on them.
• The second requirement is that you need to have collected all sixteen (that we know of) Secret Rabbits.
  It was previously believed that there would be 20 Secret Bunnies based on the number of statues on the Bunny Platform in space but it's now been changed to be 16.
• The final requirement is that you've completed the second ending of the game and have reached the platform outside the well where the Manticore and Bunnies now roam

What is BDTP in Animal Well?

Sleuths on the Animal Well discord discovered that of all of the Secret Rabbits on the platform the first set of ears will give players the order that that specific rabbit is in the index of Rabbits in combined Binary, and the second set of ears are instructions for which way you should travel once leaving the red flag at the end of the platform.

For example if we were to look at the ear directions of the left-most bunny, the one obtained for completing the Bunny Mural we can see that after hopping it's ears point Right Right and then Up Left. Using the clues on the UV side of the blackboard in the office tells us that Right and Right are both 0. The binary for 0 is simply 00, so two directions to the Right will give us 0000 which of course is still 0. Then the directions are Up and to the Left.

Continuing this the second Secret Bunny from the right has ears that point Left Down and Up Up. This would put the order to 10 01, which becomes 9. Then Up and Up gives us the direction.

What is the correct BDTP order in Animal Well?

Bring a Manticore to the right-most side of the Rabbit Space Platform and you'll see a flag. From there you'll want to transition the screen according to the following steps:

Up - Left - Up  - Left - Up - Right - Up - Up - Left - Down - Left - Up - Up - Up - Right - Right - Down - Right - Up - Up - Up - Left - Down - Left - Up - Left - Up - Right - Right - Right - Up - Left

Once completed correctly you should reach a new platform.

What is the BDTP reward in Animal Well?

The reward for completing the BDTP puzzle in Animal Well, and being eaten, is that when you jump and jump again the player character unveils a set of wings allowing them to fly indefinitely. This, coupled with the strange Unicode messages that are hidden in the game have led to what looks to be the most complicated Puzzle of them all.
