Whether you like thrill-a-minute rollercoaster rides or more sedate and thoughtful experiences, you'll find that this month's Game Pass haul caters to you, so let's have a look at the Game Pass additions for July!

Xbox Game Pass July 2024 Games

Here's a rundown of everything we know is making an appearance on Xbox Game Pass in July.

  • Journey to the Savage Planet - July 3rd (PC, console, cloud)
  • Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 - July 3rd (PC, console, cloud)
  • Cricket 24 - July 9th (PC, console, cloud)
  • The Case of the Golden Idol - July 9th (PC, console, cloud)
  • Neon White - July 11th (PC, console, cloud)
  • Tchia - July 11th (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)
  • Magical Delicacy - July 16th (PC, console, cloud)
  • Flock - July 16th (PC, console, cloud)
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn - July 18th (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)
  • Dungeons of Hinterberg - July 18th (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)
  • Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess - July 19th (PC, console, cloud)

There's some very solid stuff indeed on this list, so let's take a look at some of the highlights of this month's Game Pass lineup.

The Case of the Golden Idol - July 9th (PC, console, cloud)

The Case of the Golden Idol is a must-play puzzler.

If you're a fan of Return of the Obra Dinn-style mystery games, then you owe it to yourself to check out The Case of the Golden Idol, assuming, of course, that you haven't already.

Presented in a rather unsettling art style, Golden Idol tasks you with solving mysteries by filling in a sort of Mad Lib-style board. Instead of hilarious non sequiturs, however, Golden Idol asks pertinent questions about suspects, methods of murder, and more.

Neon White - July 11th (PC, console, cloud)

Neon White marries Paradise Killer's visual style with lightning-fast platforming.

Slightly juvenile visual novel-inspired story aside, Neon White is a superb first-person speedrunning platform-shooter, and even that description doesn't come close to doing it justice.

The unique gameplay gimmick at the heart of Neon White is the ability to use its guns either as weapons or to help with platforming; one gun might give you a double jump, for instance, while another might allow you to stomp.

If you need any further convincing on this one, check out our very own Austin's review, which awards the game an extremely rare perfect score.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess - July 19th (PC, console, cloud)

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess looks like typically imaginative Capcom fare.

Capcom's latest is a rather odd duck, combining action gameplay with tower defense-style strategy as you endeavor to defend a village from the demonic Seethe.

Villagers will help you to defend their home, and you'll be able to allocate them to different roles, then dive into the thick of it yourself in order to battle your enemies with swordplay.

Our very own Tyler reviewed this one, awarding it an impressive 8.5 and praising its "satisfying" gameplay and "imaginative" level design.

That's all we've got for the Xbox Game Pass July 2024 roundup right now! Check back later for more games, and as ever, don't be afraid to let us know if we missed something!
